Stephan A. Schwartz

Stephan A. Schwartz is a true pioneer in consciousness research and teaches you to tap into new abilities that can improve your decision making and transform your life, our lives. He is a Distinguished Consulting Faculty of Saybrook University, a Fellow of the William James Center for Consciousness Studies, Sofia University, and a Research Associate of the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory of the Laboratories for Fundamental Research. He is the columnist for the journal Explore, and editor of the daily web publication Schwartzreport.net in both of which he covers trends that are affecting the future. He also writes regularly for The Huffington Post.

His life has been spent exploring extraordinary human functioning, and how individuals and small groups can, and have, affected social change. He is convinced that all life is inter-connected and interdependent. This is reflected in his many books, research papers, and much material online. He is perhaps the only person who has read all of the thousands of Edgar Cayce archives which launched his career and for more than 40 years has been interested in the aspect of consciousness independent of space and time.

He has had various Government Appointments and written very many articles in newspapers and magazines. In fact his list of skills, and accomplishments is about 15 pages long. There is a whole series of his talks on the internet and these are informative an enlightening, especially with Jeffery Mishlove on Thinking Allowed. If you go to that YouTube channel and let the selections play themselves consecutively it is like having a private seminar on demand on Medicine and Healing, Creativity, Archaeology, Anthropology,  Remote Viewing, and Social Policy.

Stephan tells us perhaps more about our nature as human beings than just about anyone, especially with respect to an explanation of the relationship of nonlocal awareness with spiritual practice, creativity, and topics such as universal and nonlocal consciousness. He also reveals keen insite into the threats that hang over civilization and humanity itself, and how we as individuals can help to bring about changes for a better future.

He says that basically meditation is focused attention awareness. It has been around a very long time and there are various approaches, some borrowed from ancient wisdom traditions.  We have a bad habit of emphasizing the negative and overlooking the positive. Being mindful can help.

Apparently focused attention awareness is cumulative like a learned skill. Mindfullness is the current buzz word being adopted by psychologists who say the potential benefits of mindfulness meditation are very impressive: Reduce symptoms of tress and depression, Greater self-awareness and self-control over bad habits, Enhanced cognitive abilities, Boost activity in your immune system, and even Slow down cellular aging, and Relationship satisfaction.
