Reality and Illusion

Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure was real? What if you couldn't awaken? How would you know the difference between dream and reality?
The Matrix took the world by storm when it was first released in theaters. It chronicled humanity’s post-apocalyptic war against the machines they helped create.

Space and time are traditionally thought of as the backdeop to the universe, but new research suggests they may not be fundamental but an elaborate illusion. Physicists are starting to suspect physical reality is an illusion. The idea that we may be living in a matrix-like universe is called the simulation theory. Physicist Max Planck said "I regard consciousness as fundamental…" And other and scholars argue that consciousness is a fundamental quality of the Universe.

"If we are living in a simulation, then the cosmos that we are observing is just a tiny piece of the totality of physical existence"   - Nick Bostrom

Cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman argues that while we should take our perceptions seriously, we should not take them literally. Beliefs inherited from family or tribe influence people's values and actions strongly. So your eyes and ears don’t tell you the truth. That’s not what they are for. The senses evolved to enable us to survive in the world, not to represent it accurately. The reality that we experience each and every day is what we must use to survive in our environment. A human body comes equipped to interact with only certain frequencies. But that doesn't mean other realms are not real.

The visible spectrum is the tiny portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye. The electromagnetic spectrum covers electromagnetic waves with frequencies ranging from below one hertz to above 10 25 hertz, corresponding to wavelengths from thousands of kilometers down to a fraction of the size of an atomic nucleus. So the visible light spectrum is only a tiny part (0.0035%) of the much bigger electromagnetic spectrum.

In a similar way we ordinarily see ro experience only a small bandwidth slice of what we call physical reality.Increasingly there are reports from people who have experiences with what we think of as non-ordinary reality.

Richard Feynman once suggested that nature is like layers of an infinite onion. With each new experiment, we peel another layer of reality; because the onion is infinite, new layers continue to be discovered. And they need not be simulations.

A parallel universe, also known as an alternate universe, parallel world, parallel dimension, or alternate reality, which is a hypothetical self-contained plane of existence, co-existing with our own. The sum of all potential parallel universes that constitute reality is often called a "multiverse". Our universe would constitute just a small or subset of this multiverse.

A person having a dream, or hallucination, or a Near Death Experience (NDE) tends to argue that the experience didn’t have the disjointed quality of being unreal. Some are able to describe details and events that happened around them while they were unconscious or clinically dead.  A lucid dream is a type of dream in which the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming. During a lucid dream, the dreamer may gain some amount of control over the dream characters, narrative, or environment. Lucid dreaming has been studied and reported for many years and has shown potential for overcoming fear and other healing effects.

In ancient shamanic tradition, there are 3 worlds-states of non-ordinary reality that are richly layered over our consensual reality (the physical world most of us walk around in most of the time). You reach each reality level through the process of shamanic journeying. The lower world in shamanic reality, contrary to what many might think, is a place of discovery, exploration, learning, and healing. And the middle world in shamanic reality is the non-ordinary reality version of our physical world in which your consciousness first leaves your body, before you head to the upper or lower worlds.

The concept of an otherworld in historical Indo-European religion is reconstructed in comparative mythology. Hinduism is a major world religion, with one of the longest-surviving pantheons in history. Within its rich mythology, elephant-headed gods clash with powerful demons and titans, preserver gods send out their avatars to restore the righteous order of the universe, and powerful sages challenge the gods themselves. Years, or even lifetimes of spiritual disciplines were thought to bring enlightenment to some.

Our understanding of reality has changed over time. From the scholars of ancient Greece to the modern physicists of today,  there have been changes and breakthroughs about the way we view the world. Beginning with Anaximander’s discovery of the Earth floating in the sky and Democritus’ discovery ot the atom. There is now a twentieth-century paradox in modern physics.

The West as a culture or civilization historically evolved out of Greco-Roman classical antiquity.
But the rigid power structure of Western religion was almost too precarious to be analysed. Holy wars and the inquisition took a great many lives. Even mentioning possible alternate realities was forbidden. The 8th Ecumenical Council of Constantinople even  "abolished the human spirit" (as an abstraction). But just because we had it all wrong for a long time doesn't mean thhere is no divinity, though perhaps different than what we thought.

And similary our idea of reality might also have all wrong. We think of matter as atoms that are an organized group of electrons and protons zooming around a neutron, but this figure is completely wrong. The particles that make up the atoms have no structure or size, no weight, and are just vibrating electrical energy. There could be infinite frequencies or types we don't  know about.

Perhaps there is only one real thing which is the sum of all frequencies. It is similar to the idea that drops of water can exist without the ocean, but the ocean cannot exist without dtops of water. And this water can be solid, liquid, or gas. As gas it may be clouds or steam. As liquid there may be lakes, rivers, oceans or even floods. As solids there may be hail, sleet, snow and solid ice. But it is still just water.

Human beings are conditioned to hold onto culture, beliefs, tradition and politics, even at the expense of our well being. Without knowing it, we usually live and express these distorted ideas, practices, and patterns that influence our perceptions of reality and in turn create our reality. Emotion is said to be the trigger that activates thoughts.

Emotional reality, unlike physical reality, is created rather than observed. By and large, people create the emotional reality in which they live. Unfortunately the choice of which reality we create is usually made by default, a kind of habitual automatic pilot derived from temperament, metabolism, and experience. The human brain filters information within its default choices, processing that which conforms to them and excluding that which deviates from them.

Beliefs inherited from family or tribe influence people's actions more strongly than those with weaker genetic bases. Indeed, highly heritable attitudes, such as political persuasions, may even steer our choices of the social "niches" we carve out for ourselves. If challenged we my not have reasons to justify inherited beliefs becuse to us it is a given that they are the truth. People simply believe that they are right in their own ideologies and cannot accept the ideologies of others which causes conflict. People's political beliefs actively demand of them that they ostracize those who do not fit with the party's agenda.

Inclusion rather than isolation is the key to peace and happiness. There are basically only two human motives: approach and avoidance. But like other apparent polarities such as hot/cold,; light/dark; good/bad, each is only a degree of the opposite.

How can it be possible that the world we see is not objective reality? And how can our senses be useful if they are not communicating the truth? Many people want to believe that there are some extrasensory powers like the ability to read minds, foretell the future, communicate with the dead, or with "spiritual helpers." The internet offers many "psychics," and some offer "proof" of their abilities.

As finite creatures we look to the infinite for true identity. Parapsychology is a growing field of research that studies a number of ostensible paranormal phenomena, including telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, near-death experiences, reincarnation, and apparitional experiences.

Is mankind alone in the universe? Or are there somewhere are there civilizations more advanced than ours, civilizations that have achieved interstellar communication and have established a network of linked societies throughout our galaxy? Such questions are bearing on the deepest problems of the nature and destiny of mankind. Today for the first time in human history extraterrestrials have entered into the realm of experimental science. They may not all come  from other planets or galaxies, but from other realities, sometimes being invisible to us, to bring about drastic changes in our reality.

So it may be that ultimate reality is like 3D TV with uncounted channels and bandwidths. Our body is like the TV and our brain (consciousness) is the tuner. And whatever channel we focus on seems more real than the other channels.

Reality and Illusion

Challenging leading scientific theories that claim that our senses report back objective reality, cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman argues that while we should take our perceptions seriously, we should not take them literally. How can it be possible that the world we see is not objective reality? And how can our senses be useful if they are not communicating the truth? Hoffman grapples with these questions and more over the course of this eye-opening work.

Ever since Homo sapiens has walked the earth, natural selection has favored perception that hides the truth and guides us toward useful action, shaping our senses to keep us alive and reproducing. We observe a speeding car and do not walk in front of it; we see mold growing on bread and do not eat it. These impressions, though, are not objective reality. Just like a file icon on a desktop screen is a useful symbol rather than a genuine representation of what a computer file looks like, the objects we see every day are merely icons, allowing us to navigate the world safely and with ease.

Human beings we are conditioned to hold onto culture, beliefs, tradition and politics even at the expense of our well being. Without knowing it, we live and express these distorted ideas, practices and patterns that influence our perceptions of reality and in turn create our reality.

Emotional reality, unlike physical reality, is created rather than observed. By and large, people create the emotional reality in which they live. Welcome

An Open Mind Is A Precious Gift

The study of human consciousness has seen profoundly important discoveries emerge in the past couple of decades. Old science tells us that we are mechanical systems governed, fundamentally, entirely by impersonal laws. But now we are coming to a new understanding that we actually create our reality moment to moment. Noted physicists and mathematicians, as well as psychiatrists and neuro-physiologists, are now supporting this opinion.

Despite several thousand years of failure to correctly understand physical reality (hence the current postmodern view that this is impossible) there may be a solution. If we can unite Science with Metaphysics. Leibniz wrote;  'Reality cannot be found except in One single source, because of the interconnection of all things with one another.'

A Dynamic Unity of Reality might describe reality from only one substance. As Aristotle explains, Metaphysics is the study of the One Substance (and its Properties) which exists and causes / connects all things, and is therefore the necessary foundation for all human knowledge. Aristotle (and Leibniz) were correct to realize that One Substance must have Properties that cause matter's interconnected activity and motion.

"The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."   -Carl Sagan

According to panpsychism consciousness pervades the universe and is a fundamental feature of it. Apparently the universe is connected by a vast quantum energy field. Traditionally the universe is the expression of a universal mind that transcends personal awareness. A drop of rain falling into the ocean loses its it individuality and once again IS the ocean. The statement that mind is everything is a similar analogy. A profound understanding of this opens a doorway to deeper inner spiritual alchemy.

Physical reality can be described in terms of Space, a Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) where the electron is a spherical standing wave. It is easy to show that the Wave Structure of Matter is the correct solution as it deduces the laws of Nature (the fundamentals of Physics & Philosophy). While the Wave Structure of Matter is obvious once known, to begin it will seem strange simply because it takes time for our minds to adjust to new knowledge.

Harmony arises from a Wave Structure of Matter in Space (we are all interconnected in this space that we all commonly experience). This unity of reality (God, Brahman, Tao, Spirit, Energy, Light, Vibration) is central to all major world religions, thus their common moral foundation of 'Do unto others as to thyself' as the other is part of the self. Yet we continue to be our own worst enemy.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world".   (Mohandas Gandhi)

Clearly our world is in great trouble due to human overpopulation and the resultant destruction of Nature, climate change and the pollution of air, land and water. The best solution to these problems is to found our societies on truth and reality rather than past myths and customs (which invariably cause harm).

Our perception of the world is influenced by our expectations. These expectations, also called "prior beliefs," help us make sense of what we are perceiving in the present, based on similar past experiences. Our negative core beliefs drive our dysfunctional immediate beliefs in the forms of attitudes and rules.

A desire for identity consistency may help explain why we can be so uncomfortable engaging with opinions that challenge our beliefs. The human instinct to survive is our most powerful drive. There are many examples of hard-wired human instincts that help keep us alive. Perhaps the most obvious case is the fight-or-flight response.

But people's inner monsters come in various forms, some more recognizable than others, and that we are all one random encounter away from tragedy. Only recently have we learned that our brains and minds are so full of flaws and cognitive quirks that reward survival more than knowing truth.
“For some of our most important beliefs, we have no evidence at all, except that people we love and trust hold these beliefs. Considering how little we know, the confidence we have in our beliefs is preposterous—and it is also essential.”
2002 Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman
The internet is clearly a very good way to get new knowledge visible to the world, a world now in great need of wisdom from truth and reality.  It is our purpose here to editorialize internet content to call attention to new and helpful information in order to gain a better overview.

During The Reiannisance the size of the known world tripled. During the past few decades astronomers have discovered that there are likely trillions of galaxies and almost an uncountable number of planets. It remains to be seen how this may affect who we really are

The New Age Begins

The Mayan Great Age and the Egyptian Age, and the Age of Aquarius agree that the current  historic alignment of the earth, the sun, and the galactic center of the universe is a great window of OPPORTUNITY for spiritual growth.

What IS NOT found anywhere in their text is doomsday for the world. But the Age of Aquarius is causing great turmoil in order to make room for the new values of love, brotherhood, unity and integrity. Everything with Piscean values is being exposed and taken down. The Piscean values of money, power and control are being replaced. This includes governments, corporations, individuals, and even personal relationships.

The influences of Aquarius began as early as the French Revolution when their slogan was "freedom, equality, fraternity." These values represent the Aquarian Age. Another key trait of this new age is "humanitarianism without prejudice or preference." Maybe we will finally learn to work together for the betterment of the "whole" world rather than selfish greed and exploitation.

Deconstructive scientism would have is believe that humans amount to little more than body parts. But the rapid changes in technology we've seen in the last number of years is to prepare us for the next new age, the Age of Aquarius which begins now in 2020, and will last for more than 2000 years. And it starts with the idea that “Consciousness creates reality.” This statement has changed the scientific and medical landscape, and alternative media outlets around the world have and continue to explore its meaning and implications for out future. Countless scientists study this idea and how it might be correlated with the nature of our reality.

"Intelligence" precedes the existence of matter according to a variety of experiments in Quantum Physics. The experiments suggest that nothing exists in the "physical realm" until some form of intelligence is present to 'observe it'.

“Consciousness creates reality”is a statement that has changed the scientific and medical landscape, and alternative media outlets around the world have and continue to explore its meaning and implications for out future. Countless scientists study this idea and how it might be correlated with the nature of our reality.

“I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” - Max Planck, the theoretical physicist who originated quantum theory, which won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918

“It was not possible to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way without reference to consciousness.”    - Eugene Wigner, theoretical physicist and mathematician

"A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction." - RC Henry, a professor of physics and astronomy at Johns Hopkins University

The Piscean Age was dominated by  patriarchal systems like Newtonian Physics. The new age is all about making room for a more egalitarian world. The Age of Aquarius is the Age of Freedom and Technology. Aquarius is heavily associated with electricity and information such as the way we're seeing social media facilitating revolution is very much of this era.

Fundamentally, physicists develop models for understanding how the world works and describes and predicts how design patterns emerge and it not only describes the patterns of change in the world within and around us, but it allows us to predict how the configuration of those patterns will evolve over time.

Quantum Physics tells us that everything is energy, and matter is not as solid as we perceive it to be. Quantum physics will provide insight into the communication channels that link the mind-body duality. An awareness of how vibrational signatures and resonance impact molecular communication constitutes a master key that unlocks a mechanism by which our thoughts, attitudes and beliefs create the conditions of our body and the external world.

Everything has an energetic signature and is composed of Spectrum of Frequency arranged in form holding blueprints called Morphogenetic Fields. So Morphic Resonance is a process whereby self-organizing systems inherit a memory from previous similar systems. In its most general formulation, morphic resonance means that the so-called laws of nature are more like habits.

The "formative causation" hypothesis proposes that all systems are regulated not only by known energy and material factors but also by invisible organizing matrices (morphogenetic fields). According to the hypothesis all self-organizing systems, including crystals, plants and animals contain an inherent memory, given by a process called morphic resonance from previous similar systems.

And in that way all energy is apparently conscious or intelligent to the extent that it is logically or aesthetically ordered or integrated, consistent and coherent. If consciousness precedes matter in both the design process and in the actual manifestation, then intelligences must exist outside form.

Consciousness is energy, and energy is conscious; they are both interchangeable. All living beings (including planets, human beings, animals, insects, plants, each blade of grass and even a grain of sand) have consciousness. Morphic fields also coordinate the vibratory activities of the nervous system, and are closely connected to mental activity. Minds are extended beyond brains through these fields, and the effects of attention and intention at a distance can be detected experimentally.

The science behind transformation reveals that it is a natural biological process for all human beings to have the ability to evolve and to Expand Consciousness which increases levels of awareness. We have held the illusion that our health and fate were preprogrammed in our genes, a concept referred to as genetic determinacy.

Though mass consciousness is currently imbued with the belief that the character of one's life is genetically predetermined, a radical new understanding is unfolding at the leading edge of science. Cellular biologists now recognize that the environment - the external universe and our internal physiology - and more importantly, our perception of the environment, directly control the activity of our genes.
This dawning new era invites the marriage of our highly developed rational mind with our long-neglected soul and the birth of the ‘child’ of a new, awakened consciousness that would be the fruit of this union and the true saviour of our species. As the light of this new unified consciousness begins to shine in the darkness of our time, we could heal both our divided psyche and our raped and vandalized planet. It is a dangerous, challenging and creative time to be alive. -Anne Baring.

Whatever your vibes are is what you will attract, it's that simple.

Metaphysical Cosmology

"Reality is just an illusion."   -   The Finder

The combined implications of recent developments in the understanding of neuroscience and quantum physics represents a profound break thru in our understanding of the basic nature of reality. Apparently it is consciousness that determines whether a quanta becomes matter or remains pure energy. In the quantum world view, there is not much that exists in the physical world. Atoms are just little sparks of energy, and everything, including living cells are comprised of atoms. In fact, DNA is only a blueprint for the design of our cellular structure, while it is consciousness switches on of our stem cells and  determines their fate.

So, the mechanistic, linear dualism of Issac Newton and  René Descartes must now give way to a dynamic new non-local physics where we are no longer locked in to past events as victims of painful experiences in our past or even our own genetics. What this does is to deliver us from the old, static paradigm of Darwinism and the fatalistic grip of behaviorism in which we are portrayed as helpless and rather hopeless victims; aliens in an alien world, subjugated to forces we can neither or control or understand.

According to Dr. Henry Grayson and others, the new reality is a much more spiritual matrix in which new beliefs actually open up new neural pathways to support what we are to become. In this new reality we are co-creators rather than doomed and powerless victims of past and present traumas and events. This is timely and hopeful stuff to a world locked an old deterministic view, steeped in negative programming and beliefs, objectification and commodification.

A quanta is tens of millions of times smaller than an atom. The size of the simplest atom (hydrogen) is approximately 100,000 time larger than the proton it contains, or in other words, the ratio between the size of the hydrogen atom to its nucleus is about 100,000. So matter is composed almost entirely of empty space and some electricity, and that includes our physical body.

But if you've stubbed your toe on a table leg, you know it is quite real. The idea of metaphysics is how not to stub your toe. Metaphysics seeks answers beyond measurable matter, energy, space, and time. It explores the mysteries and meanings of all that exists and may be thought of as a cousin to Physical Cosmology, which is the area of science dealing with the material origins, history and fate of the universe. Cosmology was a subject of metaphysics before the Copernican Revolution. However, since Einstein's theories, cosmology has been primarily concerned with physics (applying numbers to things). Physics takes the world apart piece by ever smaller piece, trying to figure out the puzzle of existence.

Cosmology is "a branch of study concerned with the origins and nature of the universe." Theoretical metaphysics has not yet been proven by science and metaphysical cosmology did not give way easily to physics. Copernicus developed the "heliocentric" theory of the universe, and when Galileo backed him up, the cosmology of the Roman Church, cosmology built on the solid foundation of Aristotle's metaphysics as introduced into the Church by Thomas Aquinas, received a shock heard throughout the Western World: the Earth was not the center of the universe. Galileo was actually put on trial for contradicting the Church in this matter.

Metaphysical Cosmology is an area of philosophy that deals with our place in the universe and the nature of reality beyond its physicality, including understanding and explaining why everything came to be. Metaphysical cosmology puts the universe into one comprehensible object so that it may be examined as the whole, including the study of how human beings are related to the universe. So it is like holding the universe in your hand as if it was a single intelligible object, for the purpose of defining Man's place in the universe, as well as the possibility of a some thing "holding" the universe.

How can a human being living on earth be related to the universe? We are all parts and parcels of the universe since we cannot disconnect or sever our relationship. In realistic terms, in order to maximize and capitalize on this relationship, we must walk in harmony with the universal laws.

If we walk in harmony with the universal laws our rewards shall be plentiful, abundant and overflowing, and happy. Thwarting universal laws is a downward spiral into failure, suffering and despair. But why are there so few people in the former category? Apparently it boils down to emotion - to the simple fact that early in their lives many if not most people are made to feel that they are not good enough. The appropriate mode of feeling and behavior is somehow missing or under-developed in their lives.

One of the early issues in metaphysics is the idea of evil. Shamanism and religion seek power over evil. The problem is fear. In the game of approach and avoidance, we are necessarily hard wired to avoid trauma, it is built-in and automatic - at the cellular level.

Approach is basically about food and procreation while avoidance is about survival. The complexity of modern life offers many threats that were unknown to primitive humans. Complexity just came with the territory and is usually not optional. Food, shelter, procreation, even life itself sees increasingly complicated, fragmented or polarized. How can we feel good when so many experiences and things are mass produced, synthetic, industrialized?

Not just goods and services, even food gets tainted and degraded but so does the quality of our lives. Personal relationships are often too casual to be lasting and meaningful. Even high end categories of music and art too often seem marginalized, dismally struggling over failures. Degradation of the environment and the media are looming problems that we seem to tolerate out of a lack of respect for where and who we are.We now know yet somehow fail to see that we occupy the best and only jewel-like planet in all of the know physical universe. Yet we behave like abandoned infants fowling our own nest, howling at the darkness.

Your sub-conscious is always listening. By changing your own thought processes and beliefs you will begin to reprogram your life to accept positive thoughts and experiences. When your sub-conscious is aware of the positive reality, your choices will be influenced by more positive actions, which lead naturally to more positive outcomes.

Everyone on the planet has some capacity to master the principle of mind over matter, but you need to understand how to use your mind power to do it. One of the ways you can develop using mind over matter is to practice turning all of your negative thoughts and beliefs into something positive. Take time to sit and think about what it means to control your life with your mind. Consider how everything in your life appears when you are happy. Think about a very content and peaceful time in your life. The bad things in life don’t seem as bad when a person is satisfied with the way things are going.

Another very simple way to begin using mind over matter is to start using meditation and affirmations which are excellent ways to begin the re-programming process. Start with the little choices, take a stand, avoid whatever is negative or toxic. Make a decision to choose kindness, beauty, and truth. This will lead to right choices on the big issues. If there is any real magic this is it!

Our best hope is to wake up to the beauty of our world and pay more attention to our possibilities. It is not rocket science –either you care or you don't. It's time to wake up and grow up! We can no longer continue to behave like spoiled and selfish children,  and must realize  that we are children of the universe, and regain a sense of awe and wonderment. Perhaps then we can begin anew, by learning to treat each other and our home with love and respect.

Compassion

As a result of reduced travel and increasing business closure, pollution levels are dropping all over the world, and the environment is thriving. As humans everywhere are forced to self-isolate due to the coronavirus pandemic, lowering pollution levels have led to the unexpected prevailing of nature.

Sir David Attenborough wrote that " Humans are a plague on the Earth that need to be controlled..."  Yet many see that this pandemic is the chance to repair and strengthen relationships with each other and our planet. This down time gives us opportunity for introspection, a cardinal opportunity, to have a look at where we have been an where we are headed.

For about 500 years we have been trapped in the science myth wherein anything that couldn't be weighed or measured was simply discarded as invalid. We collectively pretended that our numinous and spiritual instincts could simply be ignored. By ignoring that heroic half of our identity we have become cold and indifferent and riddled with inner turmoil while we tried to justify the trashing the environment and murdering hundreds of millions of people with our weapons of mass destruction. Individually and collectively we ignored the shadow self, by preteneding that our greed and self deceit, was acceptable in the name of progress.

“We experience ourselves our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the Whole we call the universe. This is actually an optical illusion of consciousness. It's like a prison for us. Our task is to free ourselves from this prison by widening our Circle of Compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. This is the only foundation for our Inner Peace and Security”
- Phil Borges quoting Albert Einstein

It is as if nature is offering us one more chance to see what a mess we have made and understand that the unsustainable must fail. We are standing on the brink of  and environmental calamity that could make the carona virus seem trivial. We must  reconnect to Earth, to each other, and to ourselves with caring and compassion. Compassion may be of crucial importance for our individual physical and psychological health. Understanding compassion as a moral emotion intimately tied to the question of ethics and the cultivation of ethical sensibility.

Joseph Campbell said we live in a time without an adequate mythology suitable to live by. Whether we're aware of it or not, we long for wisdom and love, and for knowledge of what seems to exist just beyond what we know as our reality. This other universe is commonly called non-ordinary reality and it is natural for humans to have questions about the forces of nature, the meaning of life, purpose, self, identity, death, and knowledge of the divine. Once every people in the world believed that the sun and moon were divine. We want to know about ancient myths aboutcreation, and the elements of water, fire, earth, and air, as well as plants and animals and the wisdom of ancestors.

Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human form or other characteristics to beings other than humans, particularly deities and animals. Personification is the related attribution of human form and characteristics to abstract concepts such as nations and natural forces likes seasons and the weather. Both have ancient roots as storytelling and artistic devices. Most cultures have traditional fables with anthropomorphized animals as characters, some dating back to very ancient times. The last of several great  ice ages began 2.6 million years ago at the start of the Pleistocene epoch. Roughly 20,000 years ago the great ice sheets that buried much of Asia, Europe and North America stopped their creeping advance.

The Holocene is the name given to the recent 10,000 to 12,000 years of the Earth's history -- the time since the end of the last major glacial advance. The edge of the sea ice is a productive zone for the phytoplankton, and zooplankton, and as the ice gradually retreated, many other species exploit this enormous supply of food and the ice edge abounds in animal and bird life. And on land during the Early Holocene melting ice triggered the development of  massive expansion of grasses and forest lands. Plants, animals and humans flourished. By learning to plant and harvest crops, hunter-gatherers became farmers. As the number and size of agricultural societies increased, they developed the first forms of government, architecture, philosophy, and religions.

This also marks a very big change in the idea of ownership and property. Ownership became the central part of politics (domination and dominion).  The rich began to get richer, and this trend continued until today the bulk of the World's Wealth is controlled by as few as 1% of the population. Usually the employ middle management to maximize their profit margins, which amounts to a kind of dehumanization. Society itself seems to be increasingly disconnected from our intuition and controlled by bad science, propaganda and media violence. The pharmaceutical industry has rapidly grown into the worlds most profitable business.

"Magic is any sufficiently advanced technology." -Arthur C. Clarke

Now that we have looked into the down side of our plight, what about the upside? The act of entering certain states of consciousness has the ability to affect the objective world around us. During the mid-20th century, advancements in theoretical physics led to a new view of reality among quantum physicists.

From the 1950s the scientific study of the nervous system made huge advances, mainly because of the progress achieved in other and related fields, such as computational neuroscience, electrophysiology, and molecular biology. Neuroscientists were able to study the nervous system's structure, functions, development, abnormalities, and ways it can be altered. Neuroscience, also known as Neural Science, is the study of how the nervous system develops, its structure, and what it does. Neuroscientists focus on the brain and its impact on behavior and cognitive functions. Emotional intelligence shares the neuroscience behind what’s going on inside your head.

Recent developments in quantum physics provide us with more answers as to how reality works. Apparently there is an interplay between our local space-time reality and human consciousness, and objects are not really solid. Quantum theory proves that it is the act of observation itself that causes a wave function to collapse into a particle. This is called  the observer effect. An over-simplification of this discovery implies that physical reality depends on consciousness.  That implies that we stand at the threshold of a revolution in thinking that transcends anything that has happened before.

Bringing body-mind techniques to the forefront of modern healing practices through a lens filtered from training in a variety of physical sciences, such as biology, neuroscience, bio-engineering, and psychology. In this way science and spirituality, creates and strengthens the link between these two fields. It shares the benefits of neuroscience and ancient techniques of self-help, personal growth and transformation, and healing. Its purpose is to transcend the dullness and disenchantment which has become endemic to modern living and replace it with a renewed and authentic sense of awe and wonder and enthusiasm, and restore our sense of meaning and purpose in life.

Dehumanization is the act of degrading people with respect to their best qualities - depriving them of  individuality, compassion, or civility:  Once certain groups are stigmatized as evil, morally inferior, and not fully human, the persecution of those groups becomes more psychologically acceptable. Restraints against aggression and violence begin to disappear.

Not surprisingly, dehumanization increases the likelihood of violence and may cause a conflict to escalate out of control. Once a violence break over has occurred, it may seem even more acceptable for people to do things that they would have regarded as morally unthinkable before.

Dehumanization is the psychological process of demonizing the enemy, making them seem less than human and hence not worthy of humane treatment. This can lead to increased violence, human rights violations, war crimes, and genocide.  Dehumanization is also a psychological process whereby opponents view each other as less than human and thus not deserving of moral consideration - Jews in the eyes of Nazis, - slaves were also dehumanized by their abysmal condition.

Science has been blamed for the dehumanization of modern life. By the first half of the nineteenth century our society was already well enmeshed in that process by means of which the strenuous activity of hard-headed industrialists and bankers, possessed by a single-minded devotion to making money and to extending their power through the production and use of complicated machines and other devices, as well as political manipulations. As a result of the activity of these people and of their twentieth-century successors a new type of world has come into existence, the world of the modern urban industrial state where practically everything is commodified to be sold to the highest bidder.

We have mostly become mere employees of the system, mere “units” or objects or commodities, interchangeable, and are condemned for all our working lives to purely mechanical activities in which nothing properly human exists and whose performance is not in any way consistent with our inner and personal aptitudes and identities. The denial that man possesses a capacity for metaphysical or spiritual knowledge typifies much of what passes for philosophy in our times.

Conformity is the social form which we have adopted, and it cuts our consciousness to fit its needs, its imperatives tailor our experience. Part of the problem here is that western philosophy has developed the idea of “ordinary consciousness,” of which anything beyond this range is to be labeled pathological or even schizophrenic.

The various the wisdom traditions eventually became tribalism where each faith group feels superior.  The church took over Pagan gods, holy places, holidays or "holy days," and customs, in order to reconcile people to the new religion, and vigorously persecuted "magic, sorcery, and superstition" of all sorts. Religious dogma usually discourages or preempts personal questioning of the rules. Even when the end of life draws near we are expected to accept on faith a set of cut and dried answers about the hereafter.

Coming into being and passing away remains as the ultimate mystery for many of us. But there is a comprehensive collection of information and resources about the Near-Death Experience, which includes a huge collection of NDE accounts.

But we are here and now in a time of global crisis where people are forced to live in isolation and separation. We would do well to use this time to examine the growing body of evidence that there is a connection between belief, perception, energy fields we can employ to rewire our brains and recondition our bodies to make lasting changes to live a more, compassionate, and authentic lifestyle.

Religion and Spirituality

There is much talk about deconstructing religion in light of recent discoveries of the nature of organized religion. The Internet often presents only two choices: Christian or Atheist. Unfortunately, most people also assume that spirituality and religion are one and the same, but this assumption is wrong.

R
eligion generally refers to organized systems of beliefs, rituals, and practices around a deity or deities, with an established community of followers.
Religion presents you a set of beliefs, dogmas and "holy men" as intermediaries between you and "God."
The history of religion refers to the written record of human religious feelings, thoughts, and ideas. This period of religious history probably begins with the invention of writing about ~5,200 years ago. The prehistory of religion involves the study of religious beliefs that existed prior to the advent of written records.

Four religions— Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism —account for over 77% of the world's population, and 92% of the world either follows one of those four religions or identifies as nonreligious, meaning that the remaining 9,000+ faiths account for only 8% of the population combined. Only a few decades ago, a Christian identity was so common among Americans that it could almost be taken for granted. As recently as the early 1990s, about 90% of U.S. adults identified as Christians but religion has experienced a sudden decline. However this seems to be a way of clearing out the old to make room for a new perspective, a whole new paradigm.

Religions are supposed to be all about faith and spirituality. However, religion is much like any other organization that has leadership, and has income and expenses like a business. In fact, there’s a lot of money that goes through religious hands, and it isn't necessarily used for charity. The European monarchs all embody the power struggle between church and state over who holds the supreme authority in the physical world.

YouTube and the Internet in general has become a veritable smorgasburd of spiritual ideas. Dr. Robert Gilbert tells us that
this is part of an era of the expansion of esoteric knowledge and consciousness.  The most popular "New Age" theme is about using your mind to alter physical reality. But there is a sinister side to this that you may not be aware of. Artificial intelligence is no longer a far-fetched idea out of a sci-fi movie. We're living with it, here and now. A scammer could rent AI to use artificial intelligence to mimic anybody saying anything.

There is an increasing number of websites where anybody with a computer and the credit card can gain access to very powerful softwares that will
clone the voice and images of  anyone to say anything and make it seem believable. These
cybercriminals are not just taking advantage of people to steal money, but also to represent themselves as gurus or spiritual adepts or prophets qualified to give spiritual advice. There are many such sites on YouTube. Sme AI creations have helped illustrate truth, but Internet discretion is in order.

Over the centuries, the relationship between science and religion has also seen conflict and hostility. But there are recent indications of collaboration. In philosophy of mind, the hard problem of consciousness is to explain why and how humans and other organisms have qualia, phenomenal consciousness, or subjective experiences. The science of "vibes" shows how everything is connected. The "resonance theory of consciousness"  posits that synchronized vibrations are central not only to human consciousness but to all of physical reality. All is energy in vibration.

Spirituality is the belief in something beyond the self that connects all beings to each other and the universe. In a way, this reminds us of household spirits to land, forest, and water spirits, which were a very real part of the daily lives of our ancestors. Shamanism is an ancient spiritual practice found in cultures around the world from ancient times up to the present day. It involves a practitioner (shaman or saman) interacting with the spirit world through altered states of consciousness, such as trance. The goal of this is usually to direct spirits or spiritual energies into the physical world for the purpose of healing, divination, or to aid human beings in some other way. Beliefs and practices categorized as "shamanic" have attracted the interest of scholars from a variety of disciplines, including anthropologists, archeologists, historians, religious studies scholars, philosophers and psychologists.

Spiritualism is a belief system or practice that revolves around the idea of communicating with the spirits. It often involves mediums or psychics who claim to connect with the spirit world. Spirituality encompasses a consciousness-based vision of the world that supports all human beings on their path to awakening in unconditional love and kindness. Spirituality is concerned with the present, while religion deals with the future.

Quantum mechanics may actually strengthen the connection to the divine. A 2004 hybrid film and documentary, What the Bleep Do We Know!? seeks to explain the connections between science and spirituality. The film that explores the connection between quantum physics and consciousness through visual effects, story-telling and interviews with experts. It was a radical departure from convention.

Gamma waves are associated with large-scale coordinated activities like perception, meditation or focused consciousness; beta with maximum brain activity or arousal; and theta with relaxation or daydreaming. These three wave types work together to produce, or at least facilitate, various types of human consciousness, according to Pascal Fries. But the exact relationship between electrical brain waves and consciousness is still very much up for debate.

People in the spiritual community talk a lot about keeping a super high vibration, but what does that really mean? Everyone’s vibration is different, and everyone has a different vibration. High vibration is a thought form. Kindness is a light thought form that can go clear across the universe faster than the speed of light. That is high vibrational energy. A low vibrational energy is a thought that cannot even make it out of the Earth’s energy, such as anger, hatred, or resentment. We use these negative vibrations to keep us grounded on the planet.

Spiritual guides tell us that you have an incredible power inside of you, and you CHOSE to incarnate here and now. If you had a very high vibration, you would actually leave the planet and no longer want to be here anymore. We need to understand that we can reach the highest levels of vibrations and still stay on and help the planet. spiritually importantpeople.
Right now there are a lot of people in crisis; our planet is in crisis. A soul always gets to choose whether it will incarnate or not. We are not sent here against our will. All souls are then free to exist in the ether or they can choose to incarnate as humans on earth (or perhaps other beings on other planets.

There are apparently two trillion galaxies in the latest estimate for the number of galaxies in just the observable universe. Each is made up of many stars and  planets and most are much older than our own galaxy. So the idea of humans being the most evolved beings is not realistic. Human technological civilisation only dates back millennia (at most). Just imagine what it might be in a million years or more.

If there are 100 billion suitable planets in our galaxy, if the origin of life is highly probable, if there are billions of years of evolution available on each such planet and if even a small fraction of technical civilizations pass safely through the early stages of technological adolescence, magic and religion

Arthur C. Clarke codified this idea that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Belief in magic exists in all societies, regardless of whether they have organized religious hierarchy including formal clergy or more informal systems. While such concepts appear more frequently in cultures based in polytheism,
animism, or shamanism. Religion and magic became conceptually separated in the West where the distinction arose between supernatural events sanctioned by approved religious doctrine versus magic rooted in other religious sources. With the rise of Christianity this became characterized with the contrast between divine miracles versus folk religion, superstition, or occult speculation.

The multiverse is the hypothetical set of all universes. Together, these universes are presumed to comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them. Several versions of a generic "multiverse" concept appear in physics.

"All is one" seems to be a state of mind obtainable after extensive meditation of ingestion of hallucinogens may apparently broaden consciousness extensively. Near death experiences frequently have the same result. Often people express this in terms of a transcendent reality beyond mere physical experiences.

On the Internet there are many spiritual people, psychics or people who have psychic or Near Death experiences that are apparently "trancendent" of ordinarily reality. The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. It is based on the belief that thoughts are a form of energy and that positive energy attracts success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships.

At death there’s a break in our linear stream of consciousness, and thus a break in the linear connection of times and places, but biocentrism suggests that consciousness is manifold and encompasses many such branches of possibility. Death doesn’t truly exist in any of these; all branches exist simultaneously and continue existing regardless of what happens in any of them. The “me” feeling is energy operating in the brain. But energy never dies; it cannot be destroyed.

5D is a term that is becoming a popular way of describing the shift that is taking place within our consciousness as individuals and as a collective consciousness. There are a few different perspectives on what is 5D, ranging from a physics-based explanation of dimensions to some people who regard the shift to 5D as a specific big event or moment in time that we will go through as a collective.

So it seems that we have uncountable planets in space and uncountable vibrational levels. Is one more real that the other? Or do they correspond so that physical reality is derivative or representative of energy patterns? Recent proof that neither space or time is real, but are energy patterns of vibration, then it may well be that God is not a human-like figure or any creature at all but rather the summation of all vibrations, universes, and everything -- which would be well beyond the comprehension of our brain. Reality is much more than any simulation or computerized program. There is no word in our language for that entity.

The concept of existence is directly related to levels of consciousness.... Our everyday experience is related to the physical realm, where our eyes and mind convince us of the undeniable reality of the material world.. Our physical consciousness is closely connected with this world, and being identified with it, it may seem that this is the only realm that exists. Our physical mind is focused on events and objects in the external physical world. It sees and knows nothing except them and does not go beyond their physical nature. However, there are also many other worlds (or planes of existence), invisible to our physical senses and incomprehensible to our physical consciousness.

Spirition

So what it all boils down to is the question: what will you do to manage your consciousness? A lot of negativity is thrown at us every day, just in the media alone. We all encounter bumps in our road.. So will you raise your vibrations from negative to something more worthwhile? And how will we choose to go about
it?
