Humans, like many other animals are born with their eyes closed and their eyelids fused together; the eyes open later. And many aspects of the brain are pre-programmed genetically. Brain development builds on itself, as connections eventually link with each other in more complex ways. This eventually enables the child to move and speak and think. And what the child is and pays attention to becomes inctrasingly less a mater of genetics. Synaptic pruning is the process of weeding out unnecessary neural connections and strengthening the important ones, based on the child’s experiences. As a sense of self is develops life experiences shape the emotional capacities. By age six, the brain is 95% its adult weight and its peak of energy consumption. The most influential perceptual programming of the subconscious mind occurs from birth through age six. During this time the mind is operating in a low vibrational frequency like hypnosis. The teen brain is still under construction. Even when physical growth appears complete, teen brain development isn't finished and undergoes changes that have important implications for behavior. In fact, the adolescent brain doesn't fully mature until a young person reaches their mid-twenties. For a very long time humans were somewhat limited to an ordinary state of consciousness as a matter of survival. In time however, our state of consciousness has been evolving progressively. Questions about larger issues like coming into being and passing away persist in our dreams and "meaningful coincidences" stimulated our imaginations. Animism perceives all things—animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems, human handiwork, and perhaps even words—as animated and alive. This seems to be the basis of religion. Spiritualism is the belief that the spirits of the dead exist and have both the ability and the inclination to communicate with the living. Fear for one's survival or fear of death (hereafter, fear) is one of the most fundamental psychological traits of our biological evolution. Depending on what we believe our purpose in life is we usually act accordingly in life. During the primitive age of the hunter and the hunted, man's survival was of prime importance, to save him from ferocious beasts and natural calamities. As sufficient safety nets were not available to protect him, fear was running at a high peak. God as seen a rescuer from those horribly frightening situations. Polytheism is based on the idea that the universe is governed by more than one force. Therefore, there may be a water god, a mountain god, a desert god, etc. The idea that each of these gods must be appeased. But when religious avarice is unrestrained, religion tends to sink into superstition and moral tyranny. In absolutism, the state comes under the rule of a despotic individual who claims to have a divine right to rule. Obedience to such a leader is seen as obedience to God since the leader is taken as God’s representative on earth. And similarily the success of science has ironically given it an authority we also often accept without question. For thousands of years that served as a hedge against anarchy, but at a high cost. Although the golden rule is the core of most religions, piety contests are at the core of much violence and war. The schism between science and religion, in the 17 th century, is seen by some as a necessary step in the advancement of human knowledge, because rigid adherence and dogma were undoubtedly halting progress. Those events made way for scientism, which is the view that the only real knowledge that human beings possess is scientific knowledge, and like atheism, is absolute in its one-dimensional worldview. Scientism is seen by some as a scourge which blinds the visionary and manacles the philosopher, and has delivered wealth and power into the hands of the greedy. On the one hand, scientific reductionism is an inherently limited means to reach understanding of a complex world. On the other hand, astronomers have recently found that the universe is at least 250 times larger than the observable universe, or at least 7 trillion light-years across. Popular culture and media are brimming with Astrology, Numerology, Esp, Psychics, Hobbits, magic, manifesting, mindfulness, and even ETs, and other non-scientific stories which are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding. Carl Jung argued that the collective unconscious is a stratum of the unconscious shared by everyone. He believed that events connected by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of causality as it is neither testable or falsifiable. He held that to ascribe meaning to certain acausal coincidences is a healthy, even necessary, function of the human mind. Jung described circumstances that appear meaningfully related yet lack a causal connection. He was absorbed by the kinds of phenomena which can broadly be classified as paranormal - that is, phenomena which defy explanation in normal rational terms. These influences contributed to his theory of synchronicity. Synchronicities are events connected to one another not by strict cause-and-effect, but by what in classical times were known as sympathies, by the belief that an acausal relationship exists between events on the inside and the outside of ourselves, crosstalk between mind and matter—which is governed by a certain species of attraction. Some syncronicities can be guidance to the higher self as a sort of upgrade activation, expanded consciousness of the heart which Joseph Campbell called following your bliss or serendipity. Syncronicities are "meaningful coincidences" that expand, and tease you out from the veil of forgetfulness. A paradigm shift is a fundamental change in the basic concepts of reality, when higher consciousness expanded, sensory ability, levels of sentience are greatly expanded. This means that one can develop consciousness to perceive and sense energies in higher frequency ranges that were previously not apparent. Mindset is everything, you need to stay positive and not fall apart or get upset, even by a pandemic. Armoring is a way of protecting us from overwhelmingly stressful thoughts and emotions. Armoring is characterized by a rigid thought system, emotional rigidity, which in turn leads to physical rigidity. This armor temporarily allows us to continue to function, but at a considerable cost to our well being and productivity. Creative thoughts and emotions become less active or available. Once this process has started, dysfunction can manifest itself in a variety of patterns. Emotional armor or shielding hinders functionality, being spontaneous and healthy on emotional, physical and spiritual levels, ultimately even being obstructed to fully express our manhood or womanhood intimately. All is energy and vibrations. Intuition enables you to choose what vibrations at what energy levels are available to you. By your using attention and intention you navigate this matrix. The new paradigm is comprised of beliefs and ideas that form an expanded framework to approach and engage and include a vastly expanded concept of the universe and our place in it. Instead of trying to limit ourselves and our worldview, we are beginning to embrace a more universal and inclusive view. Even our idea of divinity may get an upgrade. "Thou shalt not," is yielding to "what if." Just as we have discovered the universe to be many times larger than we used to think, so might our idea of divinity also become much more magnificent.
